Up for sale is a 1975 Honda CB 450 Cafe Racer in beautiful condition. 444 cc DOHC Parallel Twin engine, 5 speed transmission. 43 HP, top speed 110 MPH. This bike has been completely gone through and tuned up to excellent condition. It has only 5,478 original miles and had been pristinely cared for. This bike is even more striking in person. History on the CB 450: The Honda CB 450 was the first "big" Honda motorcycle with a 444cc dual overhead cam engine producing 43-45 horsepower. Although the CB 450 never sold up to Honda's expectations, it had excellent engineering for the time, notably including reliable electrical components, an electric starter, and a horizontally split crankcase, all features distinct from the British twins of the era. We currently offer a wide variety of vintage motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and motorized bikes, as well as vintage apparel, helmets, and accessories in our southern California store location. BUYER’S INSPECTION: We do our best to disclose all information known about this motorcycle for auction. We welcome a Buyer’s Inspection. If you plan to have a Buyer’s Inspection please make sure you have the vehicle inspected prior to the end of the auction. Inspection fees, if any, are the Buyer’s sole responsibility. WARRANTY: This motorcycle is being sold “as is”. No representations or warranties are made by the “Seller”, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by “Bidders” in making bids. PAYMENTS: A deposit of $500.00 by Pay Pal (non-refundable) must be paid within 24 hours of the close of the auction. When the deposit has been submitted, “Buyer”must email a copy of their valid, state-issued driver’s license or ID. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days unless other arrangements are approved by Montgomery Motorcycle Company. Balance must be in certified funds, cash or bank wire. Payments made by Pay Pal or credit card will have a 3.7% surcharge. TAXES AND FEES: Appropriate state, local taxes and registration fees apply to all vehicle sales. FINALIZING YOUR PURCHASE: Winning bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 7 days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. Before the vehicle is release for shipment to the “Buyer”, all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be completed, signed and returned to the “Seller”. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY: Delivery within Orange County, California is available for a fee of $100.00. All shipping charges are the “Buyers”responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage.
