Up for auction is this 1951 GMC Half Ton Long Box Pickup. The box measures 7 1/2 feet long as opposed to the 8 foot boxes of today. It has the original Thrift Master 6 Cylinder Engine with 4 Speed Floor Mounted Manual Transmission. The truck only has 48,300 actual miles. Runs and drives excellent! Just a blast to drive around in. Gets the thumbs up where ever we go. It has the optional 5 Window Cab, AM Radio, Deluxe Heater, Interior Dome Light, Turn Signals and chrome front and rear bumpers. The body on the truck is in VERY nice condition. There is a couple of small blister bubbles on a couple of the fenders but very minor. Somewhere along the line some diamond plate was applied to the top of the running boards to cover up some old repair work. Also new wood is needed for the bed. The rails are all in good shape and the dividers that go between each board are good. Over all just a super nice old truck that needs a few cosmetics to make it even nicer.
