Vehicle Detail

With great regret I'm listing this car for sale. I looked for 8 years for a silver 1975 2 door EMS. In 2007 I found this one in the Seattle area. I bought it & drove it home. I drive it for about 4 months every day while teaching school, but after the school closed the wood shop and construction program, I went back to contracting & the Saab turned into my estimating/errand running car. I probably haven't put 2000 miles on it since I bought it. It's a survivor car. I'm not sure about the 148K. It could be 48K, who knows, but I doubt it because of the age. Being from the West coast, it isn't rusty. I can't find any sign of body or paint work. Pretty much it's all original. I have added electronic ignition from a '78 EMS, a front air dam, and H4 low beam headlights. I've only used clear, non-ethanol 92 octane fuel in it. It runs and drives great. The tranny & brakes work fine. The clutch chatters a bit in reverse, the windshield is cracked (I have another with a good gasket), the heater core leaked until I routed around it & I've disconnected the control valve because it was stiff & I didn't want to break the pin that moves the cable. I have another heater core & control valve. I think the radiator is about due because at freeway speeds it heats up, not over heats, but gets warmer than the 180 degree thermostat should let it. I have another radiator. The interior is as expected for a 38 year old car. The seats have not caved in. There was something melting the carpet behind the passenger's seat (something spilled on it) so I cut it out. I have more carpet in the '78. I think the trim under the dash is missing on the driver's side, but I have it. The body is super straight & again, no rust holes. Some surface rust, but nothing that would need to be cut and patched. The paint is thin & showing primer in some spots on the hood. Sorry if I'm making this out to be a rough piece of junk, it's not, but I want to be as up front as I can about it & I really don't care if it sells or not. The good side, other than the great body and drive train; all the gages, switches & lights work, even the reverse lights. It has a Saab locking gas cap with the key. I'd get in it and drive it across the country right now. Has a K & N air filter. The Incas were cherry picked for this car out of the dozens I once had because of their straightness and lack of curb rash. The finish isn't great, and I was going to have them coated a little darker grey. Included is a set of real narrow studded tires on wheels that handle excellent on the ice. They are like new. Please feel free to email or call me @ 541-531-9995 with questions, thanks. You are bidding on the car as it is & by itself, with no extra parts except what are listed. The parts listed above are still on the parts car & you will need to pull them, or I can if you pay my time. I also have an '89 turbo that is wrecked but has a good engine & tranny that I was going to swap into the 99 along with the suspension & axles. I have a 2 groove harmonic balancer so the engine should clear the fire wall easier. I have an almost complete '78 99 EMS that parts could be picked off of. I have 900 doors with crank windows. I have a 99 /90 hood with a recessed SAAB hood emblem (try finding one of those), I have an extra trunk lid & extra rear glass. I have lots of lenses, gaskets, brake pads, after market wheels, a trailer hitch, new parts, used parts. I'd be happy to make you a great deal on whatever you wanted if you win the car. You'll really need to pick through what I have to see what you want. I found a B engine exhaust manifold & turbo and a huge lift & duration B engine cam we had in an old Saab we used to race. I have a 3 door 99 turbo hard plastic spoiler for the hatch.
