1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport172k milesABS BrakesAutomatic Transmission4X41996 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 172k miles on it. Auto, ABS, completely stock except for different wheels. Runs great, starts every time, auto shifts good, just recently did a major tune-up (belts, water pump, thermostat, hoses, coolant, oil, trans fluid, transfer case, rear diff fluid, etc...) does drip oil, but i haven't had to add oil between changes. Brakes were just done on it...which included rotors, drums, pads, ALL brake hardware, brake cylinders. Spent about $500 on that alone!!**FINE PRINT** so there are no real surprises, even though you are purchasing a USED vehicle!Engine and Transmission both are working great, however it does have a check engine light on, I had the code checked and it needs a new oxygen (o2) sensor (not hard to replace), it's a $60 part (I don't want to put any more money into this truck since I already purchased a new car). Oil drips a little bit out of the rear main seal (if you know anything about Jeeps, this is a common thing), doesn't need any additional oil if you change the oil every 3-4k miles. I've flushed the transmission fluid as well several times with Valvoline ATF Dex/Merc. Air condtioner stopped working last summer, not sure why, it worked perfectly fine the previous year, blows warm air now.
