This is my 1974 GT750 Water Buffalo. I have owned this Cycle for quite a long time, It is the culmination of a long term project that my son in law and I both worked on over the years. It is not a museum piece, but it is quite nice and an excellent rider. I just put new period correct Dunlop tires on it front and rear, and I put a new Battery in it today. The bike rides great, rock steady at speeds to 90 +. I tested it out today! It is amazing how fast this old bike is, and it is a real piece of cycling history. It does not have any dents in the body work or tank, is really complete and a nice example of the GT 750. The wheels are very good and clean up nice, the exhaust is good, solid and complete. The engine and frame numbers DO NOT match. This motor came off another bike during the project, and it is quite strong. The sprockets and chain are in decent shape, but I have new sprockets and a new x-ring chain that go with the bike, The grips on the bike are awful, but I have new OEM grips that go along as well. If you are looking for a museum piece, move on. If you want a really nice rider that looks nice this is it. I have had it all over the place, and I would not hesitate to ride it anywhere. It is smooth, comfortable and fast. The only reason I am selling it is because I have two other cycles and it is just taking up much needed space in my garage. Somebody should be riding this nice old bike.
