this is a 1977 Suzuki rm125b. I purchased this bike some time ago froma farmer who had it in his barn for some time. I had to have it and bring it back to life. for a 1977 125b it was in great shape. the bike is very original except for the old preston petty rear fender which looks great on the bike. the pictures you see of the bike here are current. when I got the bike is was very sun faded and did not run! the engine was pulled, bike was stripped down to the frame and anything that needed to be cleaned painted or replaced was done. has new crank rod, bearing,crank pin, crush washers, case gasket and seals. transmission looks great, new clutch pack. top end was in good shape it is on its very first weisco piston over bore , but since it was apart I had the jug cross hatched and put new wiesco rings on, new base gasket and head gasket. front and rear wheel bearings replaced, front fork seals and bushings. rear shocks were disassembled cleaned and painted with no leaks. brakes all work great, I do also have the front plate for it but its broke on a corner. the only thing missing on the bike is the chain roller and front sprocket cover. mounting towers for sprocket cover are there and not busted like a lot of these are! the seat cover is even original as is the aluminum gas tank, tank has knee dent in left side which most did but does not look bad! the bike starts and runs beautifully and shifts threw all the gears effortlessly!! is the bike perfect no! it is 36 years old! is the bike in very good condition yes! the bike looks great and is very mechanically sound. there is no reserve on the bike!!! highest bidder gets to have this piece of motocross history to race, ride or for your collection. I also have the clear title for the bike from 1981 and title says rm125b. I think every kid wanted one of these when they came out in the day. a paypal deposit will be required with in 24hrs after auction ends and to be paid in full by paypal or cash in person upon pick up.
