For your consideration is a 1968 BMW R60/2 US in need of restoration. It was last used 4 years ago when the kick start lever failed and now it doesn't engage and turn the engine over. Prior to that it was an enjoyable ride that was used sparingly since I purchased  it in 1982. It shows 31289 miles and I believe it to be correct. Please look at the pictures closely and bid accordingly. There is some corrosion on the spokes and pitting on the chrome. The rubber parts have some checking. The right side of the gas tank has a shallow dent, no creases or cracks. I had a body guy look at it and he said maybe it could be pulled out with minimal damage. There is also a small ding in the tail light can that's an easy fix. Note that the petcocks are missing. I removed them in anticipation of repairing the tank and they were misplaced. If I find them they will be included, but don't count on it. Also, the tank and seat are only sitting on the bike in the pictures, so you would need to replace the fasteners which were also misplaced. I have a key for the ignition. I'm not sure about the tool box or fork lock, so don't count on those either. It will also need a battery. I'm not sure if there are tools in the box either.If you win this BMW you will have to pick it up at zip code 54467. Or you can arrange all shipping. I can hold it for 2 months if needed.In spite of the grime and neglect this is  a relatively unmolested example of a classic BMW. All serial numbers match as well. Parts are readily available and they are appreciating in value with each passing year. This BMW deserves to be brought back and enjoyed by someone willing to take in and fix it up.
