Hello, Today you are bidding on a good condition 2003 Honda XR 70R. Honda’s are renowned for their endurance, simplicity and reliability. The dirt bike was purchased a little while ago but I have decided to go for a bigger bike. I’ve never had any problems of any sort with this bike; it starts on the first kick and shifts through its gears flawlessly. The engine is a 72cc four stroke stock Honda engine which accepts regular gasoline, (No mixing of oil and gas required) making for a simple and reliable engine. As far as maintenance goes, this bike is very simple and very low maintenance, just put gas in and go, that’s all I've ever had to do. The electronics on the bike are in equal condition, the key turns on and off easily, no grinding and the power on/off switch works perfectly. Cosmetically it has a few minor issues. Along with being used on the road, this bike was used in the yard frequently which means there are little scratches where you would expect them to be, (On the fenders, side panels etc.) but I never crashed it. That being said, all the panels are there and they are in relatively good condition. The three speed semi-automatic transmission is simple. No clutch is involved and all you do is press the gear lever and go. The tires still have a ton of tread on them which isn’t surprising considering the care it’s had; kept in a garage; no burnouts no nothing. The brakes are in great condition, the rear does not squeak or anything and neither do the front breaks which break very efficiently. I never beat on the bike; never abused it, just rode it around. Suspension on the bike is great; despite being a 2003 the suspension is firm and allows just enough give for an enjoyable off-road experience. This Honda would make a perfect beginner-intermediate level riding bike or as a mini bike/pit bike. It is a very nice size making it maneuverable and easy to ride. Despite being 6’ and 160 lbs., I get around very comfortably on it. One my size is still able to go very fast on it. Overall this is a great bike for riders of all ages. Its endurance, reliability and simplicity make this Honda XR 70R among the best bikes around. This is truly a great bike. Good Luck Bidding!!
