This is my son's 1984 Camaro. He enlisted in the military and no longer wants it, so I'm selling it for him. It is NOT currently running... Here are the issues: Needs new battery, needs tranny rebuild, or a new tranny. 1st, 2nd and 5th gear are fine. I have been told that the "synchros are out of alignment for 3rd and 4th gear". We tried to smog it last year and it failed: HC at 15mph was 159 (max 133), and NO at 15mph was 1379 (max 1125). Passed all other categories. It also needs a new smog belt. It is not currently registered, and not legal to drive. Drivers side seat belt is broken. The motor is VERY strong. When it was running, this car flew rather than drove. It has a new alternator, and other new parts, that were purchased over the years. I have the original air cleaner housing. With a new battery, it will start and drive, but without 3rd and 4th gear, you won't get far very fast. The body needs some work, but other than these issues, and other minor issues relative to a 30 year old car, it's a good car. There is no reserve, and a $200 opening bid. Winning bidder takes it.
