From an estate sale, it has an above average body. The paint is new within the last year, and the body is as clean as you will find on one of these cars. No rust, no dents, no dings!! The interior is original, the seats have splits, but are actually in good condition overall. Tires are brand new The convertible top is also above average, no rips/tears, or problems. The engine starts right up, but because of the length of time it sat, you should go over all the fuel lines, hoses, etc. Brakes work, but again, need to be checked and gone over. This is an above average car for the year, it runs and drives and sounds very nice going down the road. The brakes work, so does the clutch, trans, engine etc. However........... I would plan to ship this so that it arrives safely and the new owner has a chance to check everything out. It has been sitting since it got painted a year ago. Not perfect, but really really nice, perfect for the person who just wants to drive a car from yesteryear, but wants to be able to afford it and take it to the shopping center without an armed guard to protect it. This 79 Fiat 124/2000 spider is in very good condition. From an estate sale, it has an above average body.
