This is a very tight and very solid truck with extremely low original miles that has always been very well cared for and is in near mint condition. This one has all the right options too - rear disc brakes, 3.55 gear ratio with limited slip rear differential, NV5600 6-Speed Manual Transmission, High Output 5.9 Cummins, etc.. The engine is very strong and doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, doesn't have any blow-by and doesn't burn any oil. The transmission shifts perfect. No rattles, vibrations, or any other strange noises. Everything works perfect. As you can tell from all the pictures, this is a very very nice truck. This is definitely not your typical Dodge diesel truck. I got this truck directly from the original owner who was a local man in is 70's. He special ordered it from Bonham Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge and took delivery in September of 2000 (I have the original window sticker, delivery documents, license plate frame, interior tags, etc). At that time he had a small ranch and wanted something nice to pull his horse trailer on long trips to shows. This was never his work truck and that's obvious from the condition. He had another 1989 Dodge diesel that he used for working out of. Now, what made him decide to let this truck go? Last year he and his wife sold their ranch and all their equipment, and moved into a larger house closer to the city where things like the stores and such would be more convenient. It took almost a year of him living in the city for him to finally decide that between his age and not having a real use for the truck anymore, he would sell it. He took incredible care of the truck and I hope the new owner will do the same. I have the original title in hand that shows where the original owner bought it with 22 miles on the odometer. Even that incredibly low mileage is nearly 100% Texas highway miles from long trips. Obviously, this truck hasn't ever seen snow or salted roads, so there isn't any rust anywhere on the truck top or bottom. The Carfax is perfectly clean. There aren't any high performance modifications or performance chips and there never have been - even the air intake system and exhaust system are factory. I just had this truck completely checked out and serviced at a local diesel shop (the best within at least 500 miles of here, and they do all the service work on all my family's Dodge diesels). They put about 20 miles on it (and I've put another 300 miles or so on it myself since then) to thoroughly check everything out and this included driving it with their computer hooked up to it so they could read everything about the engine. Every single part of this truck's drivetrain is perfectly "in spec". The steering, suspension, brakes, driveline, engine, transmission, etc were all specifically checked. After examining the truck very thoroughly they literally could not find a single thing to spend my money on. I knew from the original owner that it was getting close to being due for another oil change and fuel filter, so I went ahead and had them do that. In addition, I also had brand new tires installed. They are LT265/75/16 (the original size, which is what it's always had on it) and Load Range E. No performance chip or programmer, and hasn't ever had one. This truck has been extremely well serviced and is ready to drive anywhere. The rest of the truck is totally factory stock and is simply an extremely well maintained and cared for truck. It runs and drives perfect, and is very tight. The interior is in excellent condition. Everything looks great and all the upholstery is in excellent condition with no stains or tears anywhere. All the power options work perfect. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. No strange smells and no evidence at all of it ever being smoked in, just very clean and well kept. There are a couple hairline cracks in the original dash, so a fitted carpet dash cover was added. Everything looks and works great. The exterior is just as nice. The Carfax Report is perfectly clean. No rust anywhere. Truck looks incredible. All body panels are original, but at one point there was some hail damage that was professionally repaired. According to the original owner, something also bumped into the right front fender a few years ago, so that was also professionally repaired as well. There are a couple light scratches under the driver's rear tailight which I included a close-up picture of. This truck really looks spectacular and it's amazing how a relatively older and unmodified truck like this can turn so many heads going down the road, but it sure does. You don't see them like this anymore - much less with 65k miles and a 6-speed manual. This Dodge is ready to be driven anywhere you want to take it.
