British car enthusiasts, take note. 1972 Triumph GT6 MK3 barn find that was sitting for a considerable amount of time. I bought this car from a friend who didn't have time to do anything with it, but didn't want to give up on it being that it was in such solid shape. The car originated from S. Carolina and is over all in good solid condition. The rear hatch is the worst, having the bottom lip rusted through, and the front of the hood has some rust also. I removed all the carpeting and seats so that you can see how solid the floors are. The car was originally red, but was painted green some time ago and had some restoration started with primer on quite a few spots. The interior( carpets, mats, etc. ) is new. The seats are worthless. The car starts and runs, engine is very quiet and tight, but the carbs will need tuning, as it idles rough. Also will need some electrical work. In other words, you are buying a good project car. The brakes and clutch will need to be bled out and obviously the car will need to be gone over to be road worthy. So you are getting a car that will need to be towed out. Has only 54k miles with a ton of potential. I was going to restore it myself, but just got my Opel Gt back from the body shop and simply don't have the room for 1 more project.
