This auction is for a 1965 ford mustang coupe automatic 6 cylinders 200ci, with 91,0930 miles, the car had the original engine rebuild 9 years ago so the real miles on the car engine should be under 50,000miles, we had this car for 14 years, we always have been taking good care of it and is an excellent summer car, we always get complements, but lately we haven't had time for it anymore, its been parked in our garage most of this time and we only drive it every other weekend, so we decided to let it go.I noticed lately the car making a ticking noise when its cold, and once its warm the ticking goes away, I've been told that one of the valves has to be replace but that is not a big issue concerning the performance of the car, the car on the other side runs great and has good compression in the pistons, this mustang has no rust on the floors, frame or trunk but it showing tiny rust spots in the far corners of the doors and hard top. The car's paint is in great condition and has a nice shine reflection,all glass looks good and the front shield was replaced some years ago due to a crack cause by a flying rock in the freeway, all chromes are shiny and from time to time been polish to keep them like new. We just fixed the drum breaks, replaced the water pump, starter, solenoid and battery.Parking break doesn't work.Also we had replaced the gas tank and many parts over the years , too many to list.The black interior was restored years ago and barely used, still looks like new, although the black interior lining in the ceiling was never restored and has some tearing in one of the right hand side corner.
