This truck isnt perfect cosmetically, but it is very presentable. The engine is very strong and doesnt have any blow-by. The transmission shifts perfect. Everything works great on this truck. It always starts right up even in cold temperatures with no issues. Ive put about 50 miles on this truck myself and it has performed flawlessly. WHY IS THIS TRUCK SO CHEAP?? The short answer is: It has a bad fuel injector (#8). The only noticeable symptom of this issue is some light gray hazy smoke at idle when the engine is warm. No Check Engine lights or anything like that. When I got this truck, I took it straight to the diesel shop expecting it to need a fuel injector or two (this is common with the original injectors on these LB7 Duramax engines). They ran all their tests and found that injector #7 was way out of range and #8 was just a little out of range. So, they recommended replacing #7, changing the fuel filter, and running injector cleaner through it to clean out the #8 injector. They also changed the air filter and the oil and filter. Unfortunately, once they replaced the #7 injector, #8 started acting up more, so it still smokes a little at idle. No other issues and they went ahead and checked out the rest of the truck. Its ready to drive anywhere and shouldnt give you any trouble even as it is. As far as I can tell, it doesnt smoke at all going down the road, this seems to be only the light smoke at idle. SO, heres a great deal on a really nice truck that just needs a little tinkering to be mechanically perfect. They brakes, front end, etc have also been checked and are all in good shape. The truck drives and stops great - very tight with good power. No strange vibrations or anything like that. However, because of the disclosed issue, I am selling this truck AS-IS and its priced for a quick sale. This truck has only had 1 Owner and lived in Texas since new, so it hasnt ever been exposed to snow or salted roads. Therefore, there isnt any rust or corrosion anywhere on the truck, top or bottom. There havent ever been any performance modifications or programmers on this truck. I have the original title "in hand" which shows the original owners bought it with 229 miles on it, and they just traded it in on a brand new truck. The original owners are horse trainers based out of a little town outside of Austin, TX and they used this truck to tow a small horse trailer all around the country. The interior is in good condition. Everything looks good and all the upholstery is in good condition with no tears anywhere. Some light stains on the carpet and the glove compartment release is broken. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. This truck is loaded with options and everything works great except the CD player. The exterior looks good and there isnt any rust, but its not perfect. There are some tiny scratches on the bed, a few small dings, a few scratches on the tailgate and hood, and the tailgate is a little bent in the middle. I tried to take close-up pictures of everything I could find and youll see those pictures below. No evidence of any previous wrecks or accidents or anything like that. This truck is ready to be driven anywhere you want to take it but is being sold AS-IS. If youd like to fly in and drive it home, Ill personally bring it to you at the airport when you arrive.
