You are bidding on a Used 1997 Chevy Jitney Step-Van with Electric Wheelchair lift. This van was bought by myself and my husband to take my father to the doctor when he was wheelchair bound and could not get in and out of a regular vehicle. Since his passing we do not need the Van anymore and are looking to sell it. The Van itself is in good condition. It does need a new windshield wiper, and it does need inspected. We left the inspection run out because we had no need to run it anymore when my father passed away. The wheelchair lift functions and also has a manual backup incase of the vehicle not starting. There is lots of space in the Van, I believe that it was used in Atlantic City as a tour bus. It would make a good tailgating bus, or it would be good for someone that has a disability. It has all the equipment for wheelchair access and all the accessories to secure a wheelchair in the bus. The first two rows of seats fold up and are removable so that you can place a wheelchair in that spot. Seats are in good condition. It just needs a little TLC and it will be ready to go for just about anything. When we did use it, we did not have any problems with it at all. It was bought in New Jersey and driven the whole way back to Pennsylvania without any problems. We are just seeking to sell it instead of letting it just sit. I have all of the original Jitney Accessories incase someone would like to completely restore this van to its former glory. Hopefully you will find it as useful as we did.
