Vehicle Detail
1967 CAMARO RALLY SPORT REAL RS, NOT A CLONE. CHECK TRIM TAG PHOTO. IT HAS THE WRONG GRILLE INSTALLED 454 CRATE ENGINE FROM GM PERFORMANCE WITH MSD 6AL IGNITION AND HOLLEY FUEL PUMP TURBO 350 TRANSMISSION with B+M SHIFTER ALUMINUM 3 ROW RADIATOR POWER STEERING POWER DISC BRAKES WITH HYDROBOOST SYSTEM DELUXE INTERIOR This 1967 Camaro started life as an Ermine White Rally Sport with a small block V-8 and a Powerglide transmission with console. It also came equipped with black Deluxe Interior, Air Conditioning, Tinted Glass, standard front shoulder belts, rear antenna, and bucket seats without headrests. Over the years, it was painted red, had a GM Performance 454 installed, and the Powerglide was swapped out for a 3 speed Turbo 350. Disc brakes were also added. As you can see in the photos, it has a very solid body. The trunk is beautiful, and the underneath of the car looks great. Solid floors and frame rails, a very straight body, and a pretty awesome interior. Overall it's a great car that needs to be taken to the next level. A little tweaking and tuning will make this a great car. With First Generation Camaros commanding top dollar in today's market, they are solid investments. Clones are still expensive, but will never bring the money REAL RS, SS, and Z28 cars will bring. Even though this one has the wrong grille installed, it is a real RS and could be converted back with a little work. The headlight wiring is still there, the headlight door brackets, the RS hood release down towards the bottom, not in the grille like a non-RS, and so on. Because it's a real RS, it's worth the investment. It does have a few flaws worth mentioning, like a couple of header leaks, and the carburetor could use an adjustment. It starts easily, but is cold-natured. There are a few paint chips, but nothing takes away from the overall appearance. Also, this car was in NJ during Hurricane Sandy. While it was not involved in the flooding, it was in the flood zone and was issued a flood title. Keep in mind, a million cars were there, and not all of them were flooded. It's sad, but a fact of life. This car ran the day it showed up, and didn't require any repairs associated with water damage. No fluids needed to be drained, no brake hardware was changed, and no exhaust work was required. It was shipped to Florida, where it underwent an inspection prior to having a FL title issued. You can register this car in any state or country without any issues. If you would like to come and see the car in person, you are more than welcome. If you aren't close, feel free to send an inspector, at your expense. There's nothing to hide...it's a solid car ready for a new owner. The car is located in Port Charlotte, FL. Shipping is at the expense of the winning bidder, but I will assist in any way that I can. Car is also being sold locally and I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END the AUCTION EARLY.
