FOR SALE 1997 C-5 Corvette / Torch Red /108K The only reason I’m selling this car is because of unexpected taxes that I do not want looming over me the next 3 years. I have had the car for less than a year and it has been garage.-kept I have bought/installed several new items which are all brand new: Turn-signal/cruise control Auto climate control Brass gears in pop-up lights New rear tires New stainless rear lettering New covers for seat releases New covers for seat adjusters The car runs great and is very clean as pics show. The only issues I have are: A/C drain nipple is wore off …let me explain…the a/c works fine and blows super cold ..I found water on the passengers floor board and took it to the GM dealership…their vette mechanic put it on the lift and discovered the A/C drain nipple on the firewall had been chewed by something (that’s what his theory was) and that the new rubber drain nipple they had would not slide on… so I haven’t got around to fixing that which he said require dash removal..I use it but turn it on and off so as to not create enough evaporation to allow water inside...it does drain some evidently The cover for one of the targa top holders in the trunk is missing Passenger’s side door rubber has a little wear in one spot I had also just bought a brand new supercharger from A&A Corvette that is still in box just to let you know I had no intentions of selling my vette. Not sure the what future for that is. Price is $9,500.00 firm.
