I took this car as multi-car trade, but don't have time to work on it. It has a bad 5 speed transmission, but I picked up a replacement transmission in Florida in Feb for $550 & will include it for $500.00. I purchased it from a well-known Saab mechanic in Ocala and will provide his contact information. Engine runs & would make a cool project. These old Saabs are getting rare & this is a turbo. 151,xxx miles. Will need to be towed due to bad transmission. Tires are bald & need replacing. Needs battery. GA title in hand. It idles just fine with no tapping noises or anything out of the ordinary. As you can see in the photos, there are a few dents & dings (one on drivers door, bottom side & a small one on the hatch that you may be able to pop out from behind.) The paint is fading on the hood & roof. It didn't come with a stereo, you'll have to install your own. The previous owner told me there is a performance chip installed, but I don't know this for a fact. There has been upgrades and improvements to the suspension. The exhaust is nice & quiet like stock. Note how nice the interior is. There is a small rip at the drivers seat base seam. Bad transmission means it does not drive. Yes, the engine runs, but it does not drive. It will have to be towed away. Motor oil leaks at the transmission, because the transmission is bad & needs replacing. If you're reading this ad, chances are you already know the oil pan is in the transmission. When the seal is bad, the oil leaks bad. If you want the transmission installed, I have a mechanic lined up who will swap it for $750.00, but he is very busy & it will have to be done when he's free. The clutch is good. I don't know much about vehicle shipping, so please don't ask. I will be available to meet the car hauler when he's ready. The Saab is in a large lot with plenty of room for a car haulers truck. Very close to a main 4 lane road leading to Atlanta & points beyond. THIS IS A MECHANICS SPECIAL PROJECT CAR being sold AS-IS The fact the turbo engine runs is a bonus. If you're handy, you can easily swap the transmission in a day. The opening bid DOES NOT INCLUDE the replacement transmission, but any bid over $1350 gets the good replacement transmission included.
