This BMW is being re-listed per request of several hopeful bidders. The last auction ended on Easter evening and was a perfect storm for several serious bidders that were unable to complete the purchase. The auction has been reformatted to allow bidders that only want the BMW without the expensive accessories to bid and win this auction with a lower reserve. 1997 BMW R1100RT in Glacier Green. If you are looking at this listing, you probably already know two facts about this machine. First, they are quiet, fast, and economical. Second, if you have ever been pulled over by law enforcement on a motorcycle, this is probably what caught up with you without even noticing. I have (2) BMW motorcycles and now, only room for (1) in my garage. I had to choose between my 1975 R90S and my 1997 R1100RT. Both are in remarkable condition. I will never have an opportunity to replace my R90S in showroom condition again, so the R1100RT sadly is available for the next very fortunate new owner.
