This auction is for a 2002 Chevy Astro LS passenger van. Identical to its sister truck the GMC Safari. The miles are approximately 146000. The van runs absolutely perfect and the previous owner was a retired old couple and owned it since it was brand new. The AC is 2 zoned and is the coldest air you will ever have had. I invested over $5000 in upgrades and maintenance and the van is mechanically perfect minus a very few minor cosmetic issues. The ABS light has been on since I bought it and the vehicles performance is not affected. Its just a sensor that not worth replacing as per the mechanic. I have brand new tires with less than 300 miles on them. The rims are also brand new American Racing Outlaw rims and are only 2 months old too. I have had every fluid changed in the vehicle and have all documents that I will provide to the buyer. The interior is very clean. The driver side armrest on the door had a small crack and was covered with a small matching piece of grey tape. Other than that its is in great condition. has some very minor scuffs on the bumpers as does any aged vehicle. No major dents and no rust. They grey cloth interior is in great condition and it sits 8 comfortably. 2nd & 3rd row seats can be removed and it can be used as a passenger or cargo van. I put some extras in it like a power inverter which allows you to plug almost any electrical device or equipment to it like a laptop charger or your standard tools. It has new brakes, air filter, synthetic oil, spark plugs, ignition wires, pcv valve, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter, radiator, radiator upper & lower hose, intake manifold, valve cover gasket, idler pulley, belts, transmission fluid and was just aligned. I also installed a dashboard amber service light for safety and is barely noticeable but its your if you want it. I installed a new chrome grill and the taillights and headlights are also upgraded. It is a very clean and sharp looking van. I don’t really want to part with it but I have no option unfortunately. As I tell everyone please ask all questions prior to buying and come look and drive the van around before biding so you are not wasting anyone’s time. I am confident you will be in love with it.
