my son bought this off a body shop owner who got sick, i just gave him all he has invested and i will be taking the loss. it's a galaxie 500 that has been cloned to look like an xl500. it's still a project. the body is perfectly straight and has been painted. the floors are great and has that special paint on them. frame is great. trunk is great (has a small patch). i took pictures so you can see there are no waves at all in the body. engine was rebuilt by body shop owner. it sounds it and looks it with all new gaskets. has new dual exhaust - also a new gas tank - paint looks very nice - car can be driven around the block, but not safe to drive it home - should be trailered. i am hoping my son does a you tube thing so i can post a link and you can hear it run - sounds awesome interior needs to be redone - top needs to be redone (there is no top) - power steering works great - brakes work - but are not quite right. the top is power and when my son got it if would go up and down - right now you hear it wants to move and it slightly moves - not sure if the box of pieces are keeping it from going up. it's missing the trunk lock - also you can see it's missing that upper moulding - i found one and i am ordering it today. odometer shows 41k on it - that means nothing - but for those that want to know. i quickly tried lights and they work - i didn't check all bulbs remember it's still a slight project. but the body and floors are done. front bumper is no where near show worthly - should be redone - back bumper is better - but again you can see the slight dent and the chrome is not perfect. i do have pictures of when my son got it if you want to see them just send me an email address and i can send them to you. there is another set of 4 galaxie hub caps that go with the car - just have to find them - there is a rear seat also - then there are lots of extra parts as he stripped another car to make this an xl clone the car is currently registeredin rhode island in my name - which is a non title state - so i have to give you my registration and a bill of sale - then your dmv gives you a title - no problems there as that's how it works - some states do require me to get a notarized bill of sale - if you need that it is not a problem it's no reserve so if you bid it goes if you are withing 100 miles you can come pay for the car and i can follow you home so you don't have to pay for a trailer - (i have an enclosed trailer) - no charge
