This Scrambler 175 starts easily and runs well. These Honda 175 twins are known for remarkable smoothness and this one is a fine example. The bike is in its original candy sapphire blue paint, the most desirable color for this model. The CL175 has electric and kick starting and both work well. Here are some nice additional features of this well preserved 1970 Honda: -The paint color is rich with very little fading -The impressive scrambler high pipes are solid and the chrome is in good shape. -Comes with original Honda key. -Key switch has been relocated to the handlebar clamp. -New throttle cables. -New drive chain. -Fresh oil change. Centrifugal oil filter cleaned. -The speedometer and tachometer work. You should know: -I don’t have paperwork for this bike, but I’ll gladly provide a bill of sale. -There are some nicks and a light fuel spill stain on the tank. -The front brake cable is stuck. -The speedometer often reads high above 60 mph. -Tires have good tread and hold air but are old. -Fork boots are cracked. -The battery is weak. -Seat is separated on the top and there is a small tear on the left side. The cover and foam are still soft. -The bike is solid and much of it will clean up nicely, but the tail light bracket, rear fender and wheels have rust. The front fender has a ding.
