You are looking at a 2005 Honda Cbr 1000rr Repsol in great condition. 2005 was the first year the Repsol replica was introduced by Honda, and it has awed bike enthusiasts ever since its introduction. No bike looks like the Repsol does, and if you are a sport bike rider, then you know what the Repsol is when you see it. Ever since I saw this bike for the first time at a convention in 2006, I fell in love and had to have one. My wish came true March of 2012 when I found this beauty on an ad in Cycletrader, and bought it from a Dealer in Alabama. The first owner was an adult welder who bought the bike brand new and rode it very sparingly. At 10,300 miles, this bike has been ridden less than 1300 miles a year since it rolled off of the show floor. I bought the bike with 9300 miles on it, and have only put 1000 miles on it since I acquired it. As you can see from the pictures, the bike in in near mint condition. It was taken well care of by its first owner, and that trend continued when it came to me. This was the first 1000cc bike I have owned, and the power these bikes have is unreal. She starts right up, and will throw you back when you get into the upper RPM’s. The exhaust sounds amazing, and the bike (like all Hondas) handles perfectly. The bike has a few upgrades or additions. The original owner replaced the windscreen with an orange one, along with the handlebar grips, and a more conservative rear blinker system. He also added a gorgeous Two Brothers exhaust that makes the bike sounds incredible. After acquisition I replaced the hideous stock front blinkers with flush mount carbon fiber blinkers. I am also throwing in a $600 Large Arai Quantum II helmet that I have put on maybe 30 times ever. The colors don’t match exactly, but it is a great SNELL approved, very expensive, helmet that looks great with the bike. The bike is 8 years old, and has normal wear and tear at 10k miles. The previous owner did somehow drop the bike on the right side either at idle, or in his garage or something. The result was a tiny group of scrapes on the right side, along with a nickel sized dent on the frame where the handle bar meets the frame (if you turn the handlebar all the way to the right). See photos for close-up views. The flaws are only noticed if you are looking for them, and do not take away from the beauty of this model. The reason I am selling my dream bike is because I am a full time college student at Georgia State University, and am about to relocate to midtown Atlanta to be closer to school and a new job I started three weeks ago. Since I go to school for 5 hours a day, and then work directly afterwards for 8, I do not want to leave the bike alone in an empty apartment parking lot for 13 hours a day, and 6 of those hours being at night.
