I have a 2000 Outback with 160,000 miles. It's been a workhorse but suddenly started to run really rough one day after sitting for a few days. After looking at the condition of the spark plug wires I figured that it needed plugs and wires so I replaced both. After which It started right up and ran really great but about 5 miles into an errand the service engine light came on. It continued to run well so I took it back home. Went out to start it the next day and it won't start - turns over but won't fire. This was a solid and strong running car but I don't have time to mess around with it. It has been my weekend errand car and has a trailer hitch that I have used to pull a small utility trailer. Good tires with about 20k miles and good brakes - had them done about a year ago. I hate to part with this car - it was a workhorse for us but it's got to go. Body is in good shape with a few bumper scuffs and rust spots - most notably on the hood. You will have to trailer the vehicle. We're located southwest of Pittsburgh - just off of Interstate 70 between Washington PA and Wheeling WV.
