This VW Beetle bug is in superior condition.The exterior body is a beautiful metallic light teal green with a custom tail fin. The paint was faded so we had it sprayed with new superior custom paint base coat / clear coat. It shines like new. The only exterior flaws: 1 rear driver side hubcap has a small brake. The bottom front fog lights were looking dull with imperfections, so we installed factory vw circular emblems over them. We thought this added to the look of the car, now there are 3 VW emblems on the front which gives the Bug a unique look. Fact is...no one really uses the small front fog lights. However, wiring is in place. If new buyer chose to, he/she could install new factory LED fog lights for little moneys.$25 The interior is in great shape. The dash looks factory new.It does not have a scratch on it.The door panels are perfectno fading or peeling and the handles are in great shape. The seats are cloth with a little wear and tear of course to be expected. The rear seats are in very good shape .The headliner is perfect -- no rips, tears nor stains. The headliner has a built in compartment for storage and a unique custom compartment above next to drivers door for sunglasses storage. The headliner also offers digital time of day and temperature gauges. Factory heated seats...Ice Cold Factory A/C The carpets and mats are in good shape, the mats of course have a little wear and tear. The keyless entry works perfectly and comes with two remotes. The valet key is also included.The original owner's manual is included.Thus, making this 2001 VW Bug TDI a complete factory package with all original keys and manual. Nice!!!! This Beetle Bug gets 42-48 mpg. The motor runs super smoothly and quietly. The turbo engages quickly with lots of zoom. The timing belt was inspected and appears to be new, not sure of the exact age, but both belts timing and serpentine appear to be newer with great color and lettering. (Older belts have lots of deterioration and wear.The clutch shifts smoothly and car handles beautifully.The are no pulls, shakes or shimmy at any speed. Michelin tires, approximately 90% left tread. My wife and I own a small dealership in SouthWest , Fl.We specialize in TDi's. I physically drive these vehicles to check for flaws. This VW is one on the niceset and prettiest I have had.
