Vehicle Detail

My dear friend Mike passed away and I have the unenviable task of selling his beloved Rare 1937 Ford Club Coupe Hotrod for his family. It has a completely rebuilt warmed up/blown Flathead, new pistons, crank shaft, heads, water pumps, serpentine belt setup, MSD ignition, too much to list. Mike spent ten+ years working on a frame off restoration (appraised for $37,000), nearly completing it around 2008 except for carpet, working radio and heater, driving it less than 2,000 miles to a few shows, even getting some awards along the way. During this time he had the 4 barrel carburetor removed and a new cam/supercharger installed. As his health deteriorated, he dreamed more than he finished, and took some items apart to add new parts and upgrades and never finished. The car has a Ford Flathead V8 with a Weiand Supercharger, Ford C4 Transmission, GM 10 Bolt Rear End, and a new radiator, very few miles, professionally built. I believe the engine is 286 CI, starts and runs good. Car has a Painless Wiring Kit. The gray upholstery is almost new, split bench seat, upholstered back seat, door panels, headliner, etc., but he never installed carpet or finished the sun visors. It has very nice vintage style American Mags with almost new tires (big and littles), dropped axle, front disc brakes. The car has some minor chips in the paint from being stored in a crowded garage, but we located a full quart of the lunar green paint, along with reducer and hardener. No rust issues. NOTE: Mike put some stick on bullet hole decals on the car in a few places that appear in the pictures to be defects (gray area). A multitude of parts to reinstall/finish/sell are included, with many extras, this includes: power window kit (new in package), electric windshield wiper kit (in box), original radio (don’t know if it works), new door seals, various rubber seals, many chrome items, though the chrome on the car is excellent, excellent front bumper with brackets, many other parts including new sill plates, switches, bezels, instruments, windows and frames everything in the pictures. The car currently has a one piece windshield, but the original two piece windshield is also included, along with two extra frames. The dash and window frames were done in a wood grain type finish. All body parts are included (along with an extra black hood), they are painted the same color as the car. There are several boxes of extra parts, new and used. I will inventory and take pictures of the extra items and include pictures at a later date. This could easily be a $30-$40,000 plus car. With a few hours, you can get this beautiful unique hotrod back on the road for this year’s cruising season, it has current Ca license/registration, good thru March 1914. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, we will do everything we can to help facilitate this and will ship internationally. Feel free to have it independently inspected; let us know if you wish to do so. Note: Car is for sale locally and auction will end if offer is accepted locally.
