Vehicle Detail
1962 Austin Gypsy. Rare. Less than 100 miles on frame off restoration. Rebuilt SBC 350 and TH350. Summit racing manifold and carb. Custom 3.08 cruising rear axle. Rack and pinion steering. Three point seat belts. 'Painless'wiring harness. Amatuer paint. Current Nevada title and plate. On Mar-28-13 at 12:04:00 PDT, seller added the following information: All body parts and frame were media blasted and primer sealed. Rusty floors were cut out and replaced. Seat back is original brick colored vinyl upholstery. Seat bottoms were rotten and replaced with new plywood new foam and Mexican blanket upholstery. Original instruments do not work. Speedometer would work if cable end were adapted to Hydramatic transmission. Added working instruments include water temp., oil pressure, voltmeter and tachometer. Steel side curtains included. Top bows were not salvagable. Original rear hubs, brakes and wheels included. Original heater works but not installed. "Clear Hooters" brand horn works. Some other misc. original parts. Banjo style steering wheel from an Austin taxi. This would probably be descibed as a non-traditional hotrod. I haven't had any problems in the limited distance I have driven it but would not drive it long distances until it has proven itself. Drum brakes all around. I will be more attentive to questions than in the first listing.
