Vehicle Detail
1992 Chevy 1500 standard cab short bed. 123000 original miles. This truck is in great condition. Lots of new parts. Other than the wheels and tires its just the way it came. The body is super straight with all the original panels. Has never been in a collision. The rear bumper was cracked in my driveway. This truck is exceptional for its age. The paint is starting to peel in typical early 90's fashion. Its a daily driver ready to go where ever you need it to. Serious bidders only please. This is a relist and I have reduced the opening bid to get some attention. The winner of the last auction was unclear about shipping. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING OR PICK UP IN PERSON. I will however communicate and coordinate the shipping process in conjunction with buyer. Please feel free to shoot me an email prior to the end of auction with any questions and I will do my best to provide any answers you may need. My dad bought this truck new and it has not been hacked on by anyone. The truck should pass Ca. smog because it was originally a Ca. truck. If it does not I will pay to have it repaired and smogged at a mechanic of my choice. It is a sound daily driver and was driven from Washington to Ca. six months ago and could easily be driven right back. It has sat the most part of the last 3-4 months only being driven once in a while. It never leaked a drop of anything till we left it sitting. I found a few drops of trans fluid under it but we've been driving it since then and the leaking slowed or stopped. The picture of the bottom of motor/trans pan was taken without wiping or cleaning anything. All new front suspension radiator water pump and some other stuff my brother had done that I'm not thinking of. This truck was my dad's baby till he passed 9 years ago and my brother drove it to work and back about 15 miles a day till he got a new truck a year ago. No rust good glass doesn't smoke and neither has anyone who's driven it. It can use an idler pulley and a tensioner pulley and those parts combined are under a hundred bucks. The air blows very cold but if you plan on running it a lot you'll need to change those pulleys. I personally would do the belt to but the one on it is in great condition. Maybe keep behind seat or something I don't know. The rubber strips on the outside of door glass are cracked a little but all other stripping is good. Thanks for looking
