1994 Caprice Classic LT1 V8 197,000 miIts an old local county government car, I bought it with 94,000 mi on it, I've owned it since 2006 ---THE GOOD---Brand new Optispark Distributor which are known to go bad so you wont have to worry about thatBrand new water pumpTires are about 50% treadSome new front steering parts in 2012Radiator replaced in 2011Engine computer replaced it 2010New bearings, timing chain and gaskets put in engine in 2011New battery in 2012Still has owners manual and original window sticker in glovebox ---THE BAD---Transmission acting up, shifts fine under normal driving but when you give it more throttle it likes to slip, the torque converter vibrates at higher rpm so maybe it is bad im not sure, The trans was rebuilt 60,000 mi ago so I don't know whats wrong.Its no beauty queen, its got rust and I've hit 3 deer with it so the fenders and hood will need some work.I was driving down the interstate one day 3 years ago and a stone came off a truck tire and cracked windshield so that's gonna need replacedIt has a full rubber floor mat that is worn through on drivers side and the floor underneath its rusted out It would be a good car for someone still if they wanted to do some work to it. I just am selling it because I bought another car and tired of paying insurance and tags on everything I dont really need anymore. The radio in the pictures I want to keep so I have a factory radio I will install in its place.
