Item/Vehicles Description as we know it: **Item for sale: 2003 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Bug in gorgeous sky bluw with black top and black leather interior. **Options and Accessories: 2.0L-4 cylinder, Automatic Transmission with manual shift +/- option, all power options like windows, locks and mirrors, power top, alloy wheels, boot for top is included, am-fm-cassette stereo, etc......SHARP CAR!!! **Mileage: 106,187 **Title Status: Clean and clear title in hand. **Interior Condition: Very nice shape with no smells, no tears or rips noticed. Very minor leather stressing on drivers seat edge but hardly noticeable. Nice dash, carpet, inner top, etc......Very nice car inside. Radio works, windows and locks work, heat works, power top works, etc..... **Body Condition: Also super nice!! No rust or dents noticed. A minor scratch/stone chip possible here and there from normal driving but looks awesome overall. A very minor ding noticed in drivers lower rocker/running board but thats all I really noticed! Beautiful car. Top is in great shape as well and works properly. No tears or rips or leaks. **Paint Condition: Very nice condition and appears as all original. **Underneath Condition: Also in excellent shape. **Tire Condition: Tires in great shape with 50-60% tread left. **Running/Driving Condition: Car starts, idles and runs out SUPER!! No noises or smoke, no engine lights, etc.....Super nice runner......BUT.........Transmission NEEDS WORK! No reverse, forward gears sometimes work perfectly but sometimes it whines and slips in forward gears. NEEDS TOWED, TRAILERED or SHIPPED...............................................................................CANNOT BE DRIVEN HOME = NEEDS TRANSMISSION WORK!! **History/Service/Repair work Known: Local family owned, daughters first car, serviced by dealer regularly.......started having transmission issues.....dealer stated it needs a valve body or shift cellunoid??? Family traded in on a lower mileage/newer Toyota. Nice car, well worth fixing. Car being sold just as traded in and sold AS-IS. Very nice condition, needs vacuumed but a really sharp, clean and solid car in GREAT SHAPE!! **Other notes: Needs transmission work......does not drive (no reverse, sometimes slips in forward gears). ** Warranty Info: NONE......sold as-is.
