This car has been in California and Arizona its entire life and is very solid. This Mustang is loaded with factory options and subtle aftermarket options that enhance the appearance and drivability of this classic pony. In the last 5 years, the mustang has been cosmetically restored and shows beautifully. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt. All of the brakes and suspension bushings were gone through while adding power 4 wheel disc brakes. This Mustang needs nothing and is ready to enjoy. Click to enlarge This Mustang is finished in its factory correct Candy Apple Red paint and looks stunning with its GT appearance and Shelby "R" front valance. This pony spent its life in dry California/Arizona and is rust free with laser straight body panels. The car appears to retain its original floors. The car was painted about five years ago. It has seen less than 8000 miles since and has always been garage kept. The car was completely taken apart and properly painted. This was a high dollar paint job and it really shows. All of the panel gaps line up as they should. When the car was reassembled, all new weather stripping and rubber seals were installed. This mustang features the correct GT trumpet exhaust tips. The windshield shows minor pitting from being driven. The rest is the glass is in great shape with no pitting or cracks. All of the chrome and bright work are in very good condition as well. The power convertible top is in as new condition and has not been up since it was installed. At the time of the paint job, a set of American Racing Torq Thrust Style wheels with brand new BFG white letter tires were added. Overall, the exterior of this Mustang is in excellent condition. The beautiful black pony interior was done just after the paint job and shows as new. The pony seats were completely rebuilt with new foam and had new seat covers installed. The carpet is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear. The dash, door panels, and kick panels show little to no wear at all. The interior is completed with a full center console finished in deluxe wood grain style along with the glove box and instrument cluster. This mustang also features the desirable day/night rear view mirror. A modern AM/FM radio with a factory look was added and works as it should. This Mustang features a rally pack along with the factory instrumentation with all gauges working except the clock. The GT fog lights come on with a flick of the switch and also turn on the tail lamps as they should. The windows and door locks operate as they should. The interior of this car is in superb condition and is a great place to spend the weekend cruising your favorite roads! Mechanically the car is as good as it looks. The engine was rebuilt about 12k miles ago. The motor features an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley 600CFM carb, and custom Comp Cam. The engine has plenty of power to accelerate this car with ease. The cooling system has been gone through and keeps this pony running cool. The transmission was rebuilt less than 20k miles ago and shifts smoothly through all of the gears. The suspension was gone through with all the bushing replaced and a larger 1" sway bar added. This is a great running and driving car that never skips a beat. The power steering system has been gone through and is nice and tight with the GT Close ratio steering box. The power 4 wheel disc brakes feel great and the car stops with ease. This Mustang sails along at modern freeway speeds without breaking a sweat and does it comfortably. Overall, this car is mechanically sound and ready to be driven. The Mustang is an excellent weekend toy or daily driver. This is a great chance to invest in a very nice Mustang at a reasonable price that is sure to appreciate in the future!
