1970 Chevrolet c-10 short bed step side. This has been a ongoing project of mine that due to circumstances I will not be able to finish. The truck was completley taken down to just the frame rails. They were blasted primed and painted with POR-15. this includes all of the cross members. The frame was then fitted with all new suspension components. A-arms and bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints springs one piece billet adjusting sleeves. Front sway bar with poly bushings rear adjustable panhard bar. 2.5 inch drop front spindles with disc brakes, 4 inch drop springs on rear and rear disc brake conversion, all new brake hoses and lines. Rear has new 3.73 gears and a gm factory rebuilt posi with new gears and clutches. The bolt pattern is 5x5. all new bearings and seals. New gm pwer steering gear box standard ratio. Boxed and welded rear trailing arms for strength also all new poly bushings. All new grade 8 hardware on everything. Cab was blasted and all rust cut out. Cab has new floor pans, inner and outer rockers, kick panels and cab corners. Cab was primed and painted in this flat green color. New windsheild and seal. The doors have new door skins and door bottoms. All weatherstrip is new on the cab and doors. Doors have been lined on both sides with sound barrier(similar to dynamat). New felt and window regulators new handles arm rest and handles inside and out. New key locks which match the ignition. New door pins bushings strickers and claw latches. The cab floor and back have been covered in sound barrier and jute padding. Gas tank was removed from cab. All new switches witring and washer motor. New white face guages and light indicators installed in brushed aluminium panel. Rebuilt colum, non tilt with new wiring bearings and seals. Polk audio speakers in door and infinity speakers in dash. Seat is the bucket buddy seat. Seat frame was blasted painted seats have new foam and upholstery.transmission tunnel was raised two inches to accomidate for a 4 speed or newer model transmission.Cab was installed with poly body mounts. The gas tank was relocated to the rear frame rails it is new and has the sending unit with it. Below is a list of everything I have to go with this project, the only thing I do not have to complete this truck are the bed sides. I have the ones that I took of you are welcome to them but they are rough. I was going to buy new ones. I do not have a drive train but do have exhaust already built for a ls series auto setup. It is 2.5 inch all welded with o2 bungs and stainless magnaflow mufflers. I had planned on exiting the exhaust through the side steps and have the square corvette exhaust tips for same. NEW PARTS NOT INSTALLED 2” Cowl induction hood, inner and outer fenders, grill, trim and radiator support. These are all 1968 front end componets. Again 68 front clip. New emblems for fenders and grill, parking lights and deluxe side marker lights. Front bed panel, rear stepside fenders(not new but have been rebuilt and ready for paint) bed cross sills, rear bed panel oak bed wood, stainless bed strips, steel angle strips. Stainless 55 rear tail lights, back up lenses all seals for same.Steps(not new rebuilt ready for primer) All new stainless bolt kits for all bed wood, strips and bed bolts. New trim clips and hardware. New hood bumper set, new tailgate poly trunions, hidden tailgate latches. I have a new brake booster and bracket for same for power brakes, new disc/disc brake prop. Valve with switch.new headlight bezels, new seat belts, new head lights new stainless wiper arms and wipers, new stainless door sill plates new speed nuts for fender mounting, new fire wall retiners, washer bottle braket stainless side mirror heads stainless rear view mirror and mount, glove box insert, seat belt retractors bed mounting pads. Visors and brakets. New black molded carpet kit. I am sure there is more I have missed but you get the picture. This truck is ready to be finished, Again I know it will need bedsides, online for $253 each, and drive train. I have a new drive shaft ready to go for a ls auto setup that will go also. I do have two tailgates both need repair. One is blasted and could be fixed or you can buy a new one. Winning bidder gets both used ones I have. Truck does not have rimes or tires. I may can scrap up some rollers to move it around and load same but they will not be anything special. This is a solid frame off restoration in progress with all the back breaking labor done. I only used filler (3m) for the weld seams. There is none any where else. I have around $8500.00 in this truck just for parts, no labor no materials just parts. I have a short block 350 completley rebuilt with all new parts .20 over with a 485 lift 290 duration cam I will give the winning bidder.( over $800 just in this) No heads or intake no transmission. This truck has a clear NC title in my name. I do have a reserve on this truck, I plan to take a BIG hit on same because I know how it works. This is not my first resto nor will it be my last and I am very peculiar about my work. With that being said Good Luck and feel free to ask any questions.
