Vehicle Detail

I have owned this car for 28 years and now that I have retired and planning on traveling I have decided it's time to sell. It is a 1933 Plymouth Model PD. As shown in the pictures all four doors open to the front. Also known as suicide doors. It was restored many years ago and has always been garaged and maintained. It runs very well but the fuel pump is weak therefore after sitting awhile it needs priming to start. The engine runs strong, no smoking, no noises, or no stalling. It has a very smooth idle. The steering, the transmission, the four wheel hydraulic brakes, lights, horn, and gauges all operate properly as they should. The wipers as I recall had a vacuum leak and are plugged. During the winter months in storage, the interior headliner fabric has been slightly damaged by mice. There are several small holes. The seats and door panels are excellent. The floor condition is as it was when new. The original mileage on the car is 46,439. I am the third owner, I bought it from a friend who owned it for many years. The body has absolutely no rust, neither does the undercarriage. I have never done any body repair or touch up but after owning it 28 years the exterior does have some scratches and nicks. I do not intend to describe this as a show car. I consider it a good looking driver and like I stated there is no rust. The paint is old but it still shines and looks good .The black paint on the front fenders shows cracking but has been that way for a long time. The running boards look to be homemade by the previous owner. The wooden spoke wheels are in excellent condition but regretfully two center caps have been lost. The glass is all excellent, all the door glass rolls up and down perfectly. The doors open and close nicely. The windshield tilts open. The original back footrest and rear ashtrays are there just as when the car was new. This is a complete car. It was never ripped apart, modified, or abused. I have attempted to describe the car accurately but I may have overlooked something. Email if you have any questions. The winning bidder is required to pay a $500. deposit through paypal within 24 hours of close of auction. The balance to be paid within 7 days of close of auction by cash or certified funds. The car will not transfer until all funds have cleared. I can assist in loading but transportation arrangements must be made by buyer.
