This 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 offers a performance suspension, dual exhaust, and a road-burning 505-hp, 7.0-liter V8 engine, paired with a 6-speed short-throw manual shifter. It puts out 470 ft-lbs of torque at 4,800 RPM. More important, it hits 0-60 in 4 seconds. Equipped with traction and stability control, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, and dual front airbags, the 2008 Corvette Z06 keeps you safe while you're letting loose. The rear-wheel-drive coupe rides on a four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension with a rear limited-slip differential. Chrome alloy wheels measure 18 inches up front and 19 in the back, housing run-flat tires.
This Z06 adds front sport seats, covered in two-tone stitched leather and featuring a 6-way power driver's seat with power lumbar support. Full power features include heated mirrors, remote entry, keyless ignition, cruise control, a trip computer, and CD/MP3 player with MP3 input and satellite radio. The Z06 adds a head-up system that displays driver information directly onto the windshield. Two front power outlets, dual-zone climate control, intermittent wipers, a security system, tilt steering, a tachometer, and a temperature display and compass are other standard conveniences. Leather and alloy trim decorates the wheel, shifter, and dash.
