Vehicle Detail
1998 Subaru Forester L Automatic 2.5i AWD 137,7XX Miles. New battery Front Brakes, Rear wheel bearings and all 4 Tires replaced october 2011 and have under 15k on them. Timing belt water pump and Headgasket were done at 125,000 My wife and I are the second owner, We purchased it from Rothrock in Whitehall PA in 2008 with around 72,XXX miles on the clock and has been a solid champ for us ever since. The car was under warranty until 102,500 miles so it was always maintained and repaired at any sign of trouble. Transmission fluid back-flushed when purchased. The good: Zero rust. I had it on the lift in august and inspected throughly for rust of any kind. Interior is in very good shape. Gear box shifts perfectly, No faults at all. 20mpg city and 25-28 on the highway PA State Inspected until 7-2013 We have a significant amount of records for this car. (A 2inch ring binder full) Clean title. The not perfect. Sunroof only vents. I have it unplugged, But it will need a motor for the power slide. I purchased one from ASC before we moved, I have lost it since the move. But you can get it again for 48 bucks. 3 years ago a after a snow storm a van was parked illegally in the road and a car was coming the other direction and my wife hit the parked car. The damage is very minor. As you can see in the photo. We were going to fix it back then but deemed the money was better spent elsewhere. But the paint is still great, and as I said above, there is no rust. No floor mats. The radio has been liberated from the car. Sadly. It was nice too. I left the doors un-locked in Allentown and some one thought "Hey, Free radio!" Well since it was not factory, Insurance would not cover it. So I replaced the facade with one from the scrap yard but there is no radio. The factory CD unit can be had for under 60 bucks shipped on e-bay. Since we are selling the car I figured I would let the new owner chose what they wanted. You can have a proper unit with blue-tooth off E-bay for for around 100 bucks. Due to the age of the car, We are selling it AS IS with NO warranty. You are responsible for pick up. I will not take it anywhere for shipping do to there is no plates or insurance on the car. Payment due by PayPal before pick-up. We can make appointment to have the title transfer at the DMV On Mar-02-13 at 18:27:33 PST, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention that there is a minor discrepancy about the mileage on the odometer in the AutoCheck. If you look closely at the dates the report states that in 3 weeks 22,000 miles was put on the car. That would be nearly impossible. So I am guessing that during trade-in or inspection/service someone put the wrong numbers in and it was reported that way. I have the records showing a progressive and normal mile range. I also have a full carfax history report from when we purchased the car. We have records for the car dating back to first owner day one purchase. If you have any questions please send me a message. Thank you for looking and happy bidding. :)
