This is a 1954 schoolbus. The front end has been powdercoated black. It has a 1981 chevy 350 engine with a Allison 750drd auto trans. It has been shortened in the body approx 6 ft. driver side has been sandblasted and primed. Roof rust repair has been STARTED. This old bus needs more love than I can give it! I have all the front grille, the front "cow catcher" bumper. The front axel has been swapped out for a 81 bus axel with air brakes, and powersteering. Air compressor mounted as WAS working the last time I started the engine. Firewall has had all the "extra" holes pluged and painted black. Bus has Onan gen set in side cabnet. I have more pics if interested. I also have the 1981 bus that you can HAVE for parts (air brake and glass parts ) or not , up to you.THIS BUS IS SOLD WHERE IS AS IS!!!!! The engine has not been started in 2 years approx. I have installed a engine oil cooler, a trans. oil cooler with remote filter, and a replacement radiator.Bus has no driveshaft. Tires will hold air to load on float. This is a project, not a road ready unit! Happy to answer questions, ask away!
