Convertible 140hp 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza. In 1965, Chevrolet only slated 10% of the newly designed Corvair to be convertible, and therefore rare. This vehicle has the 4 speed manual transmission and optional 140hp 4 carburetor engine that really moves. It runs smooth and strong. Engine was just overhauled– rings, valves, pistons, heads, gaskets, ignition system, etc. $3456.00 invoice in hand. Engine compartment sparkles. Only 150 miles on the motor since rebuild. Only two carbs are currently connected until break-in is complete. New true dual exhaust that sounds great Idles well. Original chassis rolls straight when you let go of the wheel. Brakes work well. Four new tires. Interior looks brilliant for its age with polished chrome trim. New carpet. Gauges recently replaced and fully operational. Original radio works like a dream and sounds good. Heater works well. New convertible top! Glass is all there and operational. All lights function. Spare tire and jack included.
