Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1998 Nissan 200sx 4 cyl GA16DE with 146,000 miles. This is a completely custom car. Engine was completely rebuilt at 131,500 miles due to a blown head gasket. No problems since. Transmission flushed and the filter was changed at that time as well. Get anywhere from 30 to 38mpg with this. There is over $10,000 work of work done to this car. $8,000+ in parts alone! Here's some of the work -Body Kit (duraflex) ($800) -Obx 2in Exhaust ($400) -Jwt Cams ($500) -Paint Job ($2,100) -Halo Projection Headlights (super bright) ($150) -Ported and Polished Head ($800) -Complete Engine Overhaul at 103,000 miles -Tokico Suspension ($500) -Tinted Windows ($200) -EBC brakes (rotors, ceramic pads) ($400) -Obx Header ($175) -Megan Racing Strut Bars ($90) -Nascar Exxide 690cca Battery ($120) -King Distributor ($350) -Megan Racing Gauge Cluster ($300) -Polished Components (valve cover) -New tires/Konig Wheelsv ($725) -Dynamat (Fatmat) floor, trunk, door pannels ($200) -2 12inch Subs (Kicker and Explode); 3000watt Pyle Amp; Jensen Head Unit; Tsunami Capacitor and wiring ($800) Also have a box of parts I never got to. Quick release steering wheel with hub, components for rear brake disc conversion, lower control arms, new ignition, larger fuel injectors, plus more. WHAT IT NEEDS: The check engine light is on for the EGR valve. Cleaned the valve and the light stayed on, so it needs a new valve. Purchased the valve ($150). Just needs to be put in. Replaced the a/c lines, but did not get to do the recharge. Will need this if you want the a/c functional. The additional pod gauges are hooked to power, but was waiting until my next oil change to hook them up to the oil sensor adapter I installed. Lastly, needs tire balancing. Starts to vibrate at higher speeds because of this. All this should run you around $300 max if you go to a garage to do it. Tire balancing should run $40, a/c recharge $140, and the labor to replace the egr should be more than one hours labor. I have been running the car without all of this done, so that is another option. Great car. Hate to give this up but I am falling behind on bills and need the money. This car hasn't seen a winter since I have owned it. Only used it as a summer car.
