1966 Porsche 912 VIN # 455078 Engine # 743235 Trans # 902/1 3280795 Up for sale is a beautiful Porsche 912. This car has been in California and Arizona its entire life and is very solid. This 912 has recently had thousands of dollars invested into it and it really shows! This 912 recently had a new paint job, all new weather stripping, interior overhaul, and Fuchs Wheels with new tires. In the last 2000 miles, the motor was rebuilt as well as the 5spd transmission. All of the brakes and suspension bushing were gone through. This 912 needs nothing and is ready to enjoy. Click to enlarge This 912 is finished in the Porsche Dark Blue metallic and looks stunning. This Porsche spent its life in dry California/Arizona and is rust free with no sign of ever having accident damage. The car was painted less than two years ago and has seen less than 500 miles since then. The car was completely taken apart and properly painted. This was a high dollar paint job and it really shows. When the car was reassembled, all new weather stripping and rubber seals were installed. All of the panel gaps line up as they should. The glass is in great shape with no pitting or cracks. All of the chrome and bright work are in very good condition as well. At the time of the paint job, a set of Fuchs wheels with brand new Goodyear tires were added. Overall, the exterior of this 912 is in excellent condition. The beautiful black interior was done prior to the paint job and shows as new. The seats were completed in the proper material with the correct basket weave pattern in the front and not on the rear seats. The carpet is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear. The dash and door panels show little to no wear at all. The headliner appears to be original and does not have any cracks, tears, sagging, etc. The interior is completed with a La Carra steering wheel that feels great in your hands. A modern radio was added and works as it should. This 912 features a 3 gauge dashboard with all gauges working. The windows and door locks operate as they should. The interior of this car is in superb condition and is a great place to spend the weekend driving up your favorite twisty roads! Mechanically the car is as good as it looks. The engine was rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. The motor features Weber cabs. The 912s engine has plenty of power to accelerate this light weight car with ease. The engine is mated to a refurbished 5speed transmission with a fresh clutch. The suspension was gone through with all the bushing replaced. This is a great running and driving car that never skips a beat. The steering is nice and tight. The brakes feel great and the car stops with ease. This 912 sails along at modern freeway speeds without breaking a sweat and does it comfortably. Overall this car is mechanically sound and ready to be driven. The 912 is an excellent weekend toy or daily driver. This is a great chance to own a very nice 912 at a reasonable price before they sky rocket like the 911s have!
