This is an immaculate 2008 Suzuki DL650K8 V-Strom that I purchased new. It's only been ridden by one person since it was delivered to be by the dealer (me). I'm 52 years old and have been riding motorcycles (dirt, quads, street) since I was 8. I've owned close 80 motorcycles in my life time and this bike rates in the top two I have ever owned. The only reason I am selling it is I have a hip joint that is giving me issues and I can't get my short legs (29" inseam) over the 35" seat height very well anymore. I just need something with a lower seat height, so reluctantly I'm Selling my beloved V-Strom. It is immaculate and well cared for V-Strom. Always garaged, and maintained by an ASE Certified Master Auto Tech, (me). Synthetic oils and lubricants used always and factory Suzuki filters, cooling system was serviced and oil & filter changed, chain lubed and adjusted when it was put to bed for the winter in December 2012. The only blemish is a scratch on the front fender that really will not show on camera. The bike has some nice added features: Givi engine guard bars, California Scientific windshield, Madstad adjustable windshield mount, Suzuki accessory jell seat (also have the stock seat in a box) Joe Rocket magnetic tank bag, CorTech tail rack bag, CorTech saddle bacgs, Suzuki accessory tank bra, swing arm lift spools and more. I also have the printed actual Suzuki Factory Service Manual. I also have the factory W/S for it if you would like that, but the California Scientific windshield with the Madstad mount is the way to go to eliminate all helmet wind buffeting at higher speeds.
