For sale is a 1970 Mustang Mach 1- R code. This car is the only one made with these options in 1970. According to the Marti report that comes with it, it's a one of one car. This car has been garage kept most of its life. I put about 500 miles on it last year and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has the original 428 CJ and C6 transmission. It has an Edelbrock Aluminum intake with a Holley carburetor and Hooker header with Flowmaster mufflers. I do not have the original parts. The motor was rebuilt at a speed shop down in Kentucky. I had new seals installed in the transmission last year because they were leaking on my driveway. It also has a shift kit in the transmission. The car needs a complete restoration but the body is very straight and it runs very well, lots of power. All body parts are original and in very good condition except the hood was replaced. It has the original 8 track player that still works. The car was painted red by a friend of mine back in 1988 and the interior was changed to black. It was originally Medium Blue Metallic with blue interior. The floors appears to be in excellent shape. I have not had the carpet out but I do have new blue carpet for it. The rust in the lower quarters is the only rust I can see anywhere on the car and it is very repairable. This car is sold as is where is with no warranty.
