1979 Mercedes 450SL A TRUE CLASSIC!!! If you love classic cars then you will love this! With a little work this car could really stand out in the crowd! If you are not looking for a show car to be, and just looking for a fun to drive, great looking car, then this could be perfect for you! If you have always dreamed about having a really great sports car then LOOK NO MORE!!! This 1979 Mercedes 450SL is in really good condition and appears to have been well maintained over the years. The Engine performs very well and provides ample power. The car performs great and is really fun to drive. The paint is in above average condition but does have some surface scratches and a few small chips. The hardtop fits tight but appears to have been stored off of the car and has some interior fading. Also on the front portion of the hardtop, the area just above the windshield, there are several small paint chips. The soft top functions normally and is in above average condition but does have a few holes around the rear portion of the top. These are mostly in the seam areas and it appears that these could be easily mended for an everyday driver situation. The front bumper has a scuff on the front passenger side of the vehicle. The interior of the car is in above average condition but there are a few places where the carpet has came loose from the edges. The electrical components of the car seem to function normally. The stereo functions normally and sounds really good. The gauges function normally with exception of the odometer which seems to work intermittently, so even though the mileage report on this car is exempt, I am selling it as the true mileage being unknown. The owner’s manual, and service manuals are in the vehicle. The glass and windshield are in good condition and are free from cracks and chips. The tires are Michelin/s and are fairly new and should provide many miles of great service. Over all condition is rated above average and I would not hesitate to hop in and drive this car anywhere.
