Up for sale is a hard to find 1974 Cheyenne Super C10 factory 454 1/2 ton truck with original matching numbered 454 engine. I found this truck in a barn in East Texas and was told it had been sitting there for 5+ years. Tags expired in 2005. I bought the truck to restore but I need to finish my El Camino first. Parts I added: Edelbrock 2-0 aluminum intake 1 7/8 headers with 3" collectors Holley 770 CFM street avenger carb, with 8N braided fuel line Holley electric blue pump with reg Plugs, cap, rotor oil, filters tall valve cover, air breather master cylinder, front calipers, pads battery 1992 Factory Chevy 454 SS wheels (15x8) excellent shape!!! thermostat * ALL factory parts taken off- intake, carb, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, and metal spark plug protectors will be included with sell * Truck runs great. Starts right up carb has electric choke. Engine sounds very strong with excellent oil pressure and compression in all cylinders, shifts but havent put on street. At one time somebody installed a very large cam, 500+, sounds excellent and has a great lope at idle. * Possi rear end * No exhaust, just open headers. This truck has all great glass other than a crack in the front windshield. * All gauges and lights work * Great Texas Truck * * truck needs long slot rockers and a stall converter to handle that large of a cam * When I installed the valve covers and intake I noticed that the inside of the engine and heads were very clean and must have been rebuilt or it has a true 70k original miles. Truck has factory dual fuel tanks - the selector works but I only cleaned 1 tank so I have the drivers side tank capped. EASY FIX. The radiator has a small leak at the top of the tank. Body is very straight and previous owner started prepping body for paint and filling all trim holes to get that smooth look. Hood will need some body work. I added the 454 SS wheels with special order lug nuts $$$$. Tires hold air but tread is very low these are very hard to find wheels. Interior of truck is in excellent condition for age. Transmission shifts through every gear. This is a very rare barn find and worthy of being restored. I will not ship buyer responsible for pick up, 500.00 dollar deposit required within 48 hours.
