Vehicle Detail

Offered here for your consideration and bids (With No Reserve) is a custom built and super modified 1975 Datsun Model 620 Pickup. Built several years prior, the truck appears to have very little mileage since completion. A total body-off / frame-up restoration was completed on this vehicle and it was subsequently donated to the Murphy Automobile Museum in Oxnard, California. I am advised $40k was invested to get the vehicle in the remarkable condition as you see it here today. Please note: I have driven this truck and it is a monster for lack of a better term. It is extremely powerful and a handful to drive. It is not a daily driver or commuter but a show truck which could certainly be utilized off-road or perhaps around town or driven to shows. Though street legal, it is currently registered non-op (non operational) in the state of California since it has been on display in the museum. If you have been seeking an eye-popping radical 4X4 pickup, you have located your vehicle. Description:Powered by a rebuilt Aluminum 1962 Oldsmobile 215ci V/8. (Produced in the 1960's, this Olds V/8 was once the lightest production V/8 in the world at a little over 300 pounds).Holley Projection Electronic Fuel Injection System.Dana 44 Rear End w/Tru-Track / Dana 30 Front End / 4 X 4Dual (2) 4 Speed Manual Transmissions effectively offering 16 speeds forward w/a lowest speed of 1 MPH.Hurst Shifter.Tachometer / Vacuum Gauge / Roll Bar / Rancho Shocks / Bucket Seats / New Headliner and Door Panels / New Tires Condition: Excellent. Very near to a new build condition. The photos speak volumes for the fine condition of this truck. The engine and bay are clean, detailed and dry. The undercarriage is as clean and detailed befitting the exterior of the vehicle. You can see it appears every nut, bolt, fitting, washer, hose and wire has been replaced or restored on this truck! Red Dupont Imron Paint is striking. The floor boards and the bed are tight and solid. (see photos) There is not a radio or CD player installed. There is a hot buff mark showing on the passenger side cab and a ding was noticed on the tailgate which are very minor flaws in my opinion. (see photos). All-in-all, this is an extremely fine one-off Datsun. I composed a short video with the car in action, so please click on the youtube link/arrow below. If a prospective buyer has questions, please call Dave Henry at 805 705-4924. Pacific Standard Time please, California. Please review my Total Overall Positive Feedback which is 100%.
