For sale is a 1999 Ranger with 211,244 miles. The body on this is in great shape as the pictures hopefully show. The only flaw is a small dent on the driver's side where the doors come together. Please see the closeup picture for this damage. The damage area is about an inch and a half. The back bumper is pushed in some where a daughter backed into another car a few years back. There is no surface rust on the body and light surface rust on the truck bed, but being a truck, it has scratches from normal truck use on the bed. There are small scrapes here and there but the body on this is in great shape considering the year and mileage. The dark areas behind the rear wheels are road salt/dirt marks as we've had snow recently and I didn't clean this truck. The transmission was rebuilt about 50,000 miles ago. Last month, I put about $700 in the front end for new upper and lower ball joints and other front end parts as wells as an alignment. Two weeks ago, the head cracked or the gasket blew so I decided not to put $1,500 in fixing it or $2,500 for a used motor. It will turn over, but I ran it until it quit running so the motor is not in working condition. Up to that point, we didn't have any issues with this truck, other than a tune up and the tranny rebuild. This would make a great buy for someone with a comparable motor that needs a 1999 Ranger with a body in very good shape. The interior shows some fading on the door panels, but amazinly the dash doesn't. It will need a new radio as I bought one 3 weeks ago and pulled it when it quit. The cruise works but the controls on the steering wheel are loose and the cover over the left side is partially gone. Please check the pictures for this damage as well. The console lid between the front seats has a broken latch. The battery has also been removed. The tank was filled just before it quit running, so there's probably 15 gallons in the tank.
