Up for bid is a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with just 75k miles. Southern New Jersey car - no body rust and a very nice undercarriage. Loaded up with lots of power option, most of which work. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power and the 2.93 traction-controlled rear end maximize traction to the pavement. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and I'll send you the history report. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & charging system. Starts easy, runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully as expected of low miles. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts perfectly. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight and totally solid. No rust anywhere. Has three minor door dings on right side doors, but that's about all to complain about on the body. Above average. Paint: Paint is very nice and shiny with a couple minor chips and scratches consistent with age. All original paint except a small spot on the left front fender near the marker light which I suspect was lightly scuffed backing out of the garage and professionally repainted. Also above average. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is nice with only a couple minor dings. Grey beltline molding is all intact except a small chip on the passenger corner of the front bumper. Chrome bumpers are ding-free. Rear bumper has some chrome fading on the top as seen in pics. Glass is all perfect - no chips or cracks. Undercarriage and underhood sheet metal are very nice with only a couple small blisters as seen in pics. Door jambs and door bottoms have no rust. Aluminum wheels are in very good shape with a couple weight marks but no peeling or curb rash. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in nice shape as expected of lower miles. Felt on the B pillar is NOT worn through - a nice testament to the low miles. Seats are in nice shape with no tears. Carpets are very nice - the only staining is minor and on the driver's floormat (all original floormats.) Headliner is nice with no sagging or tears. ON-OFF-RES lettering is still mostly visible on multifunction stalk. Dash is nice with no visible cracks, but there's a non-skid pad glued to the dash (where you'd rest a cell phone or GPS.) Trunk lining is in nice shape, too. Above average interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The driver's seat heater does not function, but all other power stuff works properly including power windows, power locks, dual power seats with power lumbar and power recliners, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, trunk release, trunk pulldown, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. The shift indicator marker is broken. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully. Steering is tight, suspension is tight (well, for a Fleetwood it's tight) and alignment is good. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 80% tread remaining rear, but fronts could use replacing soon. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks - new flanges and air pump check valves. Traction control works properly and rear end is quiet. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - hop in and drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due in 5 days by cash in person, wire transfer, or Wells Fargo cashier's check.
