New – rebuilt transmission – smoother shifting I rebuilt the transmission to improve 2nd gear shifting (common issue). While the tranny was out, we went ahead and changed the clutch and pressure plate too. Didn’t need to, but we could. Car has a lower wider stance – excellent handling car! No rust Its never seen snow – except outside its window in her cozy heated garage… Only frown: Small stone chips in hood I’m the 2nd owner. Purchased 1998. Original owner was CEO of The Tire Rack. Interior is in great condition. No rips or tears. Driver leather color is a little worn, but leather dye will solve that. There is a small area of surface rust on the bumper where the rubber molding meets the bumper. I have taken a photo of that, and will email to you if you give me your email. Fortunately it is only on the bumper and not the body. Been meaning to get that fixed, but keep running out of time.As stated, there are some paint chips on the front hood and bumper. I’ve struggled with repainting the car, but others tell me it is better if left all original.I’ve painted the engine fan cover, and the fan itself, just because I take the car to car shows and it has more appeal. I’ve also changed out the plug wires, but that’s it. I haven’t touched the inside of the engine….didn’t need to, it runs great…and doesn’t leak oil.I also have a front bra and mirror covers that come with the car.Aside from some small things as listed, this car is really very tight. Great driver. And the color, which is Porsche factory custom order, draws lot of attention. $22,500.00 Delivery, tax, title and license fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
