HISTORY The car has spent most of its life in South Florida and has no rust. It has never been in an accident. It has never been smoked in. It has always been garaged.. Everything works in the car including the air conditioning, which blows cold. The 2004 - 2005 VW GOLF TDI automatic transmission TDI's are the most desirable out of the tdi years because their 1.9 liter engines get the best gas mileage and the cars had excellent rust protection. It is rare to find a VW GOLF TDI HATCHBACK in this great condition. MECHANICAL The engine compartment is cleaned and dry, no oil leaks, nor coolant leaks. It has always been maintained and the engine and transmission are in excellent shape. The auto shifts well and there are no problems in any of the gears. You can tell that the car has always been driven carefully. The turbo sounds great and makes the raspy noise that you want to hear when you are accelerating through the gears. The oil has been changed every 5,000 miles with the proper MOBIL 1 20W-50 synthetic grade diesel oil which is recommend by VW for its turbo diesels and Florida weather The previous recent maintenance include the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, engine air filter, glow plugs and oil filter and water and oil separator. INTERIOR The seats are in excellent condition with no stains, rips, or tears. The headliner is brand new, side airbags, power windows, power locks, AC that blows cold, a Monsoon CD player, and a Sunroof. It has the fold down rear seat so you can haul things like big screen TV’s and items from IKEA. The rear headrests, spare key, spare tire, tire changing tools are complete. EXTERIOR The paint is shinny and waxed with few rock chips on the hood of the car, please considered that it is a 7 years old car, for it's age this car is in excellent conditions inside and outside. The paint is in excellent shape as you can see from the pictures and there are only a couple of minor parking dings TIRES AND SUSPENSION The tires are replaced at 220,000 along with brand new front rotors and brake pads and rear new rotors and brake pads The car has been maintained well to insure I will never get stranded on the highway. The car handles very well and there is a lot of life left in the suspension. If you are from out of state you can fly into the West Palm Beach Airport (PBI) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and I will pick you up. I just drove it to key west and Naples trip so there is no need to worry about driving it home. WARRANTYThe car is being listed as-is-as no warranty is implied from the seller.
