Time to sell the family Maverick. Mom bought this car new in 1969. It is actually a super rare 1969 model. The ingnition switch on 1969 models is in the dash , where as on the 1970 models the ingnition switch is in the steering column. This car has the dash mounted ignition switch. Also a rare item is the factory color. It is code 7 which is the factory color - Anti-Establish-Mint (green). The car was garaged in 1984 and has sat untill recently undriven. The miles are actuall at 49,206 !!. This is an ALL ORIGINAL car with low miles and NO RUST. Always a rust free Texas car sold new in Dallas, Texas and has spent its life in Fort Worth, Texas. The body is super straight , the interior is perfect (with the exception of a seam separation on the front seat drivers side - not a tear - can be resewn). The dash , the carpet and the headliner is like new.The options are 200 cid. engine , factory air , automatic transmission and am-fm radio. The engines runs perfect , smoothly, no knocks , no smoke , no leaks. The transmission also in in perfect condition with no leaks and shifts smoothly. NO LEAKS anywhere. The car extremly straight and would only need a paint job to be a show car. As seen in the pictures the paint came off in several areas on the passenger side when i was washing off 30 years of dust from it using a power washer ( i should have hand washed it ). In the last 6 months i have restored it to the condition you see in the pictures , making it totally road ready again ( This is NOT a project car ). I have freshened up the engine compartment to like new condition and replaced the following items new in the last 6 months :------- BATTERY, BELTS, HOSES, RADIATOR, ALTERNATER, STARTER SOLINOID, VOLTAGE REGULATOR, WATER PUMP, STARTER, FUEL PUMP, DISTRIBUTOR, COIL, CARB KIT, OIL AND TEMP SENDING UNITS, FUEL SENDING UNIT, CLEANED AND SEALED FUEL TANK, SHOCKS, MUFFLER, MASTER CYLINDER, ALL 4 BRAKES WITH WHEEL CYLINDERS AND SPRING KITS, BRAKE LINE, . I ALSO HAD BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS RE-CHROMED !. CODES ARE-- BODY 62A, COLOR 7, TRIM 1A, TRANS W, DSO 61- DALLAS, TX.
