Vehicle Detail

New Pictures Posted 1/27/2013 If you are looking for a great truck with low miles this is the one. I bought this from the Forest Service about a year ago. It was interesting because I bought it in Missoula Montana and most of the other trucks in that fleet were beat up pretty bad and had more miles than this. I suspect that this one being 2 wheel drive got the least use. It was not likely the first one to be picked to go up in the mountains checking on the logging crews in February. I replaced it with another 2 wheel drive 4 years newer (we had a good business year). The reason I buy 2 wheel drives is because we don't need 4 wheel drive very often. I like the lower cost of maintainence, better fuel economy and the lover distance from the cab to ground making it easier to get in. This truck has a few bumps and scratches but nothing you would notice unless you were within 30 feet and looking for them. I will deliver this to you anywhere for the cost of gas, motel and airfare back to SeaTac airport (Seattle). Figure 15 miles to the gallon and I can drive about 500 - 600 miles per day. I stay at Days Inn, Comfort Inn, Best Western or something comparable. I fly coach so you can check Expedia or another travel website. Truck has great tires with a new one in the spare rack. It goes down the road straight and stops straight. Feels like a newer truck. This vehicle is exactly as I am describing it. It runs great and is the perfect 3/4 ton truck. It has a 6. Litre V8. It will have a fresh oil change and be sent through a car wash before you receive it. I can't think of a more economicle truck unless you get one of those that is falling apart then you pay in parts and repairs. This should easily have another 100,000 + miles left in it. Email with questions. A potential buyer asked me a question and I didn't check the box to put it on the listing: He was concerned about the history of a USFS truck and asked if I would take $2500. My response was : I was told this truck was likely an office truck. Ran errands around town etc. It definately was not in the woods. I live in Shelton WA, our high school teams are the "Shelton Highclimbers". I am quite familiar with woods trucks and their abuse. As to your offer, it is an auction with the conditions well defined so I respectfully decline. You won't find a $2500 3/4 ton truck as nice as this. There are a lot of trucks that will be sold for $2500 but not real good ones.
